We appreciate a hotel that has pet friendly rooms, but sometimes feel that hotels think they don’t need to bother much with cleaning them. The bathroom had received more attention and was comfortably clean.The stairway to the second floor ice machine was littered with a few dirty towels and the machine itself has a layer of dirty melted water in he bottom. It was apparent that only a quick clean up had been done as evidenced by the thick layer of dust around the carpet edges and on surfaces such as the in room coffee maker. The furnishings were too well used and the mattress seemed old and overly soft. We stayed a couple years ago and found our pet friendly room to exceptionally clean and in good shape.
